capability which enables service providers to provide enhanced management, performance
visibility and reporting to each customer. This includes the ability to provide
management and visibility at Group, Business Unit, Location and branch level. Expand’s
WAN optimization solutions and central virtualized service management enables service
providers to deliver value added and differentiated services to their customers.
ExpandView Virtual is deployed as a virtual application within a virtualized IT
infrastructure. It overcomes the traditional challenges previously associated with
installation, configuration and management presented by heterogeneous hardware environments
and operating system configurations, allowing for rapid provisioning, large scale
WAN optimization deployments and ease of management. As such service providers can
deploy multiple instances of ExpandView Virtual on one server, or use the available
capacity on an existing server. One instance of Expandview is required per customer
to provide a secure and manageable multiple customer delivery platform. ExpandView
Virtual runs in a variety of virtualized environments, including VMware ESX,
ESXi, and VSphere 4.
